Patrick
joined Louws Management in mid-2006, and as an Executive
Consultant in Louws’ Strategic
Marketing Division, brings years of experience on both
the client side, as well as the agency side of the
business.
Patrick’s impressive client
list includes Beazer Homes, Energizer, Faultless Starch
Co., H&R Block, Hershey Foods, and Haverty’s
Furniture.
As recently as 2004/05, Patrick was
a Director, Customer Relationship Management, Concept
Development for Petsmart, where he worked extensively
in the areas of customer loyalty, profitability, and
retention programs, as well as developing customer-relevant
and motivated positionings and quantified their impact
with customer research.
Prior to his
career with Petsmart, Patrick had extensive experience
with Colgate-Palmolive as Director, New Products,
Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
He established and led a new product development group
for Hills, and was responsible for product upgrades
and new products. He managed cross-functional teams
in the development of ideas and positioning, to product
formulation and manufacturing. He was also responsible
for both quantitative and qualitative consumer and
veterinarian research. He also worked on brands such
as Colgate toothpaste, Ajax laundry detergent, Ultra
Brite toothpaste, and Murphy’s Oil Soap cleaner.
Prior to his life on the client side,
Patrick spent about 8 years at Grey Advertising in
New York and Madrid, Spain, as well as a short stint
at J. Walter Thompson in New York.
Patrick and Toni Louw actually met
while Patrick was at Grey Advertising and had such
mutual respect for one another that they kept in contact
for over 25 years.
Patrick is a marathon runner with
a goal of completing a marathon in every state.
When Patrick is not running around
the country consulting, or competing in marathons,
he lives with his wife, 2 daughters and numerous family
pets in Anthem, Arizona.
